Remote sign-on control

Importance:  High

Purpose: Remote sign-on control.  This system value specifies how the system handles remote sign-on requests, as in Display Station Passthru, Client Access, and TELNET. *FRCSIGNON states that each remote access attempt will be forced to sign on.

Risks and Concerns: This setting could be set to *VERIFY to allow a remote user to bypass the sign-on screen.  Forcing a sign-on each time the system is accessed is always the best policy.
