PowerTech Flash Audit is simple to run. The Flash Audit is non-intrusive and will be removed from your AS/400 system automatically after the audit is performed. All you need is a user profile on the AS/400 with *ALLOBJ and *SECADM special authorities. The software does not change any system settings or populate any libraries.

We recommend that you print a copy of these instructions and keep it at hand prior to downloading the software (use the Print command from the File menu on the browser).

1. Click on the Download Now link above. Select Save in the File Download box to save the file to the default download folder on your PC. You don't need to change the default file name, which is FlashAudit22i.exe.

2. Locate the FlashAudit22i.exe file in the download folder that was specified in the File Download box. In the example below, this was C:\Downloads\temp, but this will correspond to your download folder from step 1. Open the self extracting zip file, FlashAudit22i.exe, by double clicking on the FlashAudit22i.exe file (icon is picture of two red gears).

4. A window will open up asking for a location to place the files extracted from the package. Accept the default location C:/FlashAudit or type in your preferred location.

5. Now open the folder where you unzipped the file. If you accepted the default, it is C:\FlashAudit. Double click on the file FlashAudit.exe (all blue logo) to start running your FlashAudit application.
