The following table shows the PowerTech product versions that we support for different releases of the IBM i (i5/OS, OS/400) operating system. Most PowerTech products must be updated to the most-recent version for V7R1 support.
Attention Network Security, Compliance Monitor, or Command Security Users
If you are changing your system configuration—such as upgrading the OS, adding hardware or memory, or changing model numbers—you must be at the currently shipping version shown.

Unsupported Product Versions
Your Customer Support Agreement describes how the PowerTech Support team responds to product version support questions or concerns. When support for a product version ends, we provide help and answer product questions for customers current on their maintenance. If we find software problems, we ask the customer to upgrade to a supported version of the product to resolve the issue. Customers current on their maintenance can upgrade at no charge.
